It Doesn't Seem to Matter that Zelensky Lied About Origin of Missile that Killed Polish Citizens

S-300 Surface to Air Missile Launch System in Use By Ukraine.

That Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will use every event possible to maintain and build support for his efforts to defeat Russia is both understandable and undeniable. It is also undeniable that he has been the darling of the Western media. So, it is not particularly surprising that he chance advancing a false narrative of Russian aggression against a member of NATO in hopes of getting even more support and maybe even NATO troops directly engaging Russian troops.

Even as he was lying, Zelensky believed with some justification that even if it was eventually revealed that the missile that struck the Polish granary, killing two people, had actually been launched by Ukraine, that Western Media and the Biden Administration would largely excuse this as an honest mistake made in the fog of war. So, Zelensky lied , believing the potential positive payoff to be far greater than any potential fallout.

As it turns out, the missile that struck Polish territory, killing two Polish citizens, was actually a Ukrainian S-300 surface-to-air missile that had been launched in an attempt to bring down Russian missiles and or drones likely targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Since the action was taking place near the Ukrainian Russian border, such an accident was always a possibility.

US Taxpayers Paying for Ukraine War for "As Long As it Takes"

It also turns out Zelensky's lie did him little to no harm, and Biden is proposing another $38 Billion in aid Ukraine to go along with the 65.9 billion already passed by Congress. And U.S. Army General Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who has acknowledged that the war could on for a very long time, has recently stated that the United States will continue supporting Ukraine for "as long as it takes."

NOTE: While Ukraine is in Europe's backyard, it is the United States Taxpayers that have been providing the vast majority of support to Ukraine.
